My classroom already has a spot for our reading corner. Many of my students have no books to read at home or a quiet place to read them. By providing a classroom library my students will have the opportunity to utilize their imaginations through the words of a variety of authors. Not only will they have easy access to books they will be increasing their reading skills and building a love of reading. Since books/reading is not available to many of my students, having a classroom library will also illustrate the importance of books, reading and building a personal library to my students. My students will not have a variety of books by topic but also reading level.
