Thanks to your contribution, my Spanish for Heritage Speakers students now have access to brand-new markers, poster boards, folders, pencils, Sharpies, rulers, and colorful classroom posters that have truly transformed our learning environment.\r\n\r\nAs soon as the students walked in and saw the materials, their faces lit up. They were so excited to have new materials to create poster projects with! For a group of students who don't always have access to high-quality supplies at home, this made an enormous difference.\r\n\r\nWe are already putting these resources to good use. One of our current projects is a cultural identity unit in which students create visual presentations about their families, traditions, and linguistic heritage. The poster boards and markers are essential for the posters they will design and share with their classmates.\r\n\r\nYour support has helped create a space where students feel valued, prepared, and motivated. Our next steps include expanding this identity project into a short writing and speaking presentation, where students will use their posters as visual aids to explain their stories, backgrounds, and strengths. These materials will continue to support us throughout the year for grammar lessons, vocabulary projects, reading reflections, and collaborative group work.\r\n\r\nThank you for believing in my students and for giving them the tools to succeed.
