We used the tools to expand from 2 raised beds to 5 and we are currently working on building our 6th! We also cleared a space and installed a large greenhouse! We set up the rain barrels outside and have started to collect rainwater to be used for irrigating our greenhouse as well as our outdoor plants. We are currently working on our vegetable garden and the students are excited to see that perennials that we planted in the fall coming back this spring! The shed is incredibly helpful in being able to store all of our supplies safely nearby to the garden.\r\n\r\nOur project started as an idea that the Environmental Science Club at the high school had and has now expanded into an afterschool program that also includes several students and teachers from the middle school. A few elementary school teachers have also reached out about getting involved!
