We have just started for this school year and are in the process of adding new first year students. Our schools are changing and the ability to do the job correctly with it. I teach lessons at both of my elementary schools on stage in the gym. \r\nMy area is constantly being used by others. So, the locking cabinet is a great help and will be a nice place for my small instruments and accessories. The stools are welcome as well. Especially if we are lucky enough to have a student on string bass! I am excited to be adding many new kids. I estimate at least 65 kids at each school. \r\nLast year we ended the year with pieces of instruments damaged, so I was very happy to receive the new clarinet mouthpieces and ligatures. Thank you so much!\r\nAgain, I really do appreciate everything you do for the kids and the program. I hope to have a successful year and another great performance time. It's magnetic, too! Students can put messages there for others to check and information to see. \r\n\r\nThe wallpaper Whiteboard turns any wall space into much-needed whiteboard space. We put the equipment to use where it was needed. We also have resources for next year. I have been trying to build the group since we came back from covid. I've had success and part of that comes from the donations that I've gotten over the last few years.\r\n\r\nAs I look forward to the next few years I really hope I can get the groups performing more in the community. the students at my school have a need to be more active and we as teachers are working to get our administration to allow us to do more and have more time with the kids. Our community is very receptive to this and we look for ways to have the kids involved. This past year we had Veteran's Day performances and a holiday performance.
