The iPad and pencils have been great for our students to participate in activities in a new way, opening many new doors for creativity. Fine motor skills are worked on regularly in our school, the iPad and the new building materials have also offered different opportunities to our students to build muscles and try new things. \r\n\r\nThe Lego sets are fantastic. The students gravitate towards them to build structures and a variety of creative figures. Those, along with the sensory items are a new favorite! So many students get lost in the kinetic sand for long periods of time. It has such a soothing feel. The swing is a huge hit! Both young and old students seek sensory input in the swinging pod. \r\n\r\nWith such a diverse population, it is often hard to find ways to engage all students. We have finally hit the mark, thanks to your generous donations. We could not have given our students as many opportunities to learn, try new things and be completely engaged in our S.T.E.A.M. room if not for you and your help.
