Beginning with the excitement of the delivery of the chairs, these new chairs have made an immediate difference in our classroom.\r\n\r\nStudents are now better able to sit comfortably in chairs that are more suited for their size. This has helped them to better focus and remain at the writing desk longer while they are working on writing, drawing, letter recognition, and fine motor skill development activities. The addition of these new chairs has also made the writing desk more appealing to students who previously would not often choose to visit this center. A child who often chooses other centers to work in, was so excited by the new chairs that he decided he wanted a turn at the writing desk. As he was engaging in activities while sitting on one of the new chairs, he excitedly said \"It is so fun here!\" and he is now more often visiting the writing desk.\r\n\r\nAs we move forward, we will continue building strong early writing skills through daily name writing activities, journaling, small group instruction, and storytelling projects. They were so excited when their packages began to arrive, and this excitement continued as we opened all of the boxes. \r\n\r\nWith the magnetic tile set, the architecture set, and the treehouse building set my students have been exploring building, balance, and design while also developing their fine motor skills. They are architects and engineers in the making!\r\n\r\nThe Counting Cones, Snap Patterning, Color Nut Sorters, and Measurement Center have been a support in supporting foundational math concepts in ways that are fun but meaningful.\r\n\r\nAgain, thank you!
