Many of my students have very limited or no access at all to books when they are in their homes. In addition, their families often do not have the resources or the ability to take them to visit a local public library. My goal is to create a warm and inviting place where my students will feel comfortable while they have the opportunity to explore print books, as well as books on CDs. This book nook would also provide a place where my students could engage in the use of puppets to act out familiar stories or even stories they create on their own.
