Our students have benefited greatly from the materials we received. The white board paddles are one thing that have come in handy for students learning English as well as those learning Spanish. Whether it's separating the phonemes in mat (m)(a)(t) or writing the syllables in cuchara (cu)(cha)(ra), our winter test scores showed great growth through using these tools! The quality of instruction matters, but have materials that help us make it visual for these students learning foundational skills makes it easier. \r\n\r\nA few examples from kids include the following. A second grader jsaid just this week, \"Can we do more?!?\" When using the magnetic letters, a student was so excited when when they were able to use the elkonin boxes and the green ck magnet to write back. And as you can see in the pictures, our bilingual 1st graders took it a step further on their own.
