Unfortunately, the school district isn't able to supply us with spare chargers. In a class of 30 or 33 students when five students don't have chargers the lesson plan gets derailed. Those students without charges, miss learning and often distract their classmates. \r\n\r\nI'm so grateful for technology. When it works it is amazing. Unfortunately, there was quite a gap when students didn't have their charges. You providing chargers meant that lessons could keep going. All students in the class could learn. \r\n\r\nI did problem solve with these students who forgot chargers, but sometimes it was their situations that overwhelmed their ability to be organized. For example, students switching homes with divorced parents or some other situation meant that they didn't have their chargers for a week or more. Some students were \"in-between\" apartments and sleeping in cars. Your generosity allowed these students in very tricky situations to be able to participate in the learning. \r\n\r\nThank you for helping these students continue learning. Thank you for making sure that my lessons can go smoothly. What makes ours unique is that we have become a safe space for many students who do not have IEPs. We feed snacks to a LOT of teenagers every day, between 30 and 50. Your contribution to our stash of snacks had immediate impact with daily benefit. The fidgets have been a welcome addition as well. I have learned that one of our students is remarkably gifted at puzzles - extraordinary!
