Students are able to be heard clearly across the room. They're sharing their ideas and strategies across subject areas daily in math. They share shout outs for each other at the end of the day. Students read aloud to the class during English Language Arts. They've even been able to sing karaoke during Fun Friday! So fun! \r\nThis may seem like a simple tool to implement, but the ease of the technology (not interfering with other teacher's speakers) and the high quality of the sound feels luxurious! We have learned the parts of the microscope, what they do, and how to use them. We have discussed best practices to unpack and repack and how to avoid damaging them. We have taken the time to practice the skill of using a focus knob and how to make careful observations. We have drawn our observations and then had free time to just enjoy looking at different items on prepared slides.\r\nOur next steps are to continue with exploration of pond water, sand samples (to study erosion) and also leaves and plant cells.
