These books will become a permanent part of our 7th-grade curriculum, giving so many students the opportunity to experience Malala's powerful story for years to come. Last year, we had only eight copies available for students to share, and those books were borrowed from various classrooms throughout the building. Because of your generosity, every student will now have their own copy to read and engage with throughout the unit. This gift has removed a major barrier and will greatly enhance the learning experience for our students.\r\n\r\nOne of the reasons students connect so strongly with I Am Malala is that they are reading the story of a young person not much older than themselves. Malala's voice feels authentic and relatable, allowing students to see the world through the eyes of another teenager while reflecting on their own experiences and opportunities. The book sparks meaningful discussions about courage, education, perseverance, and using your voice to create positive change. Each year, students walk away inspired by Malala's story and the lessons it teaches about resilience and determination. Thank you for making it possible for every student to fully participate in this powerful learning experience.","fullyFundedDate":1770064875285,"projectUrl":"project/inspiring-courage-education-and-voice/10036837/","projectTitle":"Inspiring Courage, Education, and Voice with I Am Malala","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Trammell","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9911630_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1738608964326","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9911630"},{"teacherId":6949977,"projectId":10064017,"letterContent":"Thank you donors for supporting our special education classroom.
