As the students learn about wood working and specifically the band saw, they will go through many blades. We build many different projects that are exclusive to our band saw. These projects are part of a student run business in which we teach business skills along with industry appropriate skills. When you have nearly 80 students using a band saw every day for several months, you go through a lot of blades. This project would help stock our band saw blades to a point in which the students can build enough product to market at different festivals so that the shop can become self sufficient.

About my class
