Your contributions made it possible for our students to access specialized equipment that promotes coordination, balance, and focused attention through rhythmic movement. These tools have become a vital part of our daily routine, providing our students with a structured, engaging way to regulate their bodies and minds. The impact was immediate—students who previously struggled to concentrate began showing improved focus, and those who faced challenges with motor skills made noticeable progress in their coordination.\r\n\r\nBeyond the physical and cognitive benefits, the Bal-A-Vis-X activities also fostered a sense of confidence and collaboration. As students practiced together, they encouraged one another and celebrated small victories, strengthening peer relationships and building a positive classroom community. This project has not only enhanced our students' academic readiness but also contributed to their overall well-being. We are deeply grateful for your support—you've helped create a more inclusive, dynamic, and joyful learning environment.","fullyFundedDate":1735334259205,"projectUrl":"project/using-rhythm-and-connection-for-regulat/9020187/","projectTitle":"Using Rhythm and Connection for Regulation with Bal-A-Vis-X Exercises","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Rose","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp6460631_orig.jpg?crop=428,428,x0,y25&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1558719800006","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/6460631"},{"teacherId":9814747,"projectId":8900779,"letterContent":"At the start of the year I had one rug in a huge room of linoleum. The Little Spot books and characters are helping me teach and discuss important SEL and character building topics by making the information engaging and accessible to our younger students and students with developmental delays. \r\n\r\nFor example, in small group I will read the Little Spot book that connects to that day's topic and have the Little Spot plush characters out on the table. While we read and discuss the book, I will ask students to identify which plush we are reading about. They are also able to use the Little Spot plush character as a tool when talking about their feelings and regulation tools. The books also have codes to printable worksheets and activities for students to extend their learning. Today, for example, I read the book \"A Little Scribble Spot\" to my small groups of second and third graders. As we read the book, I was able to ask each student to choose the character plush that matched the many feelings Scribble Spot was feeling. Each student then made their own \"Can You Spot How I Am Feeling?\" book I printed from the resources and used the spots to help them identify two feelings and when they feel those feelings and gave the opportunity to draw their own spots. They really enjoyed this lesson and remained engage and were happy to do the writing part of the assignment!\r\n\r\nI know that these materials will continue to help me support students in their social emotional and academic growth for many years. I look forward to using them not only in small groups, but in classroom counseling lessons and individual counseling sessions as well.","fullyFundedDate":1728006540239,"projectUrl":"project/a-little-spot-of-social-emotional-learni/8423873/","projectTitle":"A Little Spot of Social Emotional Learning","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Ng","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp3534176_orig.png?crop=667,667,x0,y73&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1761749666709","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/robin-ng"},{"teacherId":2065922,"projectId":8794409,"letterContent":"Thank you for your generous contribution to my most recent Donors Choose project.
