Students are infatuated with them, sharing books with peers, requesting to have more reading time, and asking to be able to take their books to recess. It has been a joy to see the level of engagement students have towards books this year, and it's all thanks to your donations!\r\n\r\nMy small groups have been actively using the specialized skill books weekly. These books have been a lifesaver as they match our weekly lessons, and they allow students a quick support to show their skills. Then there are the mini games that also align with our weekly literacy skills that the students have absolutely loved. They request the games every day for their small groups as it's a fun and engaging way to show what they have learned. \r\n\r\nI can't express enough how much your donations have helped my students and me this school year with our growth and love for literacy. The scented markers allow students to create fun and expressive art projects, while the bridge-building kits encourage them to think critically about different ways to engineer and solve problems.
