Instead of shivering or getting distracted by the cold, they were enthusiastic and curious. They could focus on observing the creek, asking thoughtful questions, and participating in activities that would have otherwise been difficult. The new gear didn't just keep them warm—it allowed them to truly experience and appreciate the science happening around them.\r\n\r\nThese items will continue to support students throughout the winter, including on our next field trip when we release the salmon we've been raising in our classroom tank.
