This has quickly become one of our most exciting and valuable teaching tools, making learning more interactive, accessible, and fun for my kindergarten students. It has also allowed me to share my teaching in a larger, more visible way while giving my students more opportunities to become the teachers themselves!\r\n\r\nMy students absolutely love coming up to the easel to participate in interactive writing that can be seen from across the room. The whiteboard gives them space to map out their thinking, practice their writing, and share their ideas with confidence. Because the easel is easily movable, I can use it throughout the day during both language and math lessons.\r\n\r\nThe anchor chart holder has been wonderful for displaying poems we are studying and stories we create together as a class. Everything is large enough for all students to see, follow along, and contribute. The large book holder is another favorite, especially during big-book read-alouds. Students love coming up to find high-frequency words, identify familiar letter patterns, and even read to their classmates!\r\n\r\nThe organization built into the cart has been just as valuable. The bottom drawers keep our subject-area materials organized and accessible, while the two tubs hold our magnetic letters and sound sorts for phonics practice. Students can independently grab the materials they need and revisit these activities throughout our language block, encouraging ownership of their learning and building independence.\r\n\r\nThis easel has made my teaching easier, more engaging, and more exciting for my students. Most importantly, it has created more opportunities for them to take the lead, share their thinking, and experience the joy of teaching one another.\r\n\r\nThank you for investing in our classroom and in the learning experiences of these young students. You have given us so much more than an easel. You have given us a tool that will support countless lessons, discoveries, and little moments of confidence for years to come. I have no doubt this easel will outlive my teaching years, and I hope it continues to inspire young learners long into the future!","fullyFundedDate":1787800986506,"projectUrl":"project/the-knowledge-sharing-easel-little-teac/10516808/","projectTitle":"The Knowledge-Sharing Easel: Little Teachers, Big Ideas","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Lana","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8566742_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1659553401068","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8566742"},{"teacherId":5503015,"projectId":10412936,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generous donation to our classroom!
