The students have been so excited every time a new package came in the mail for the choir. Squeals of excitement filled my room as we opened the box that had the keyboard in it. They treat everything with care and respect. Each student asks permission and makes sure their hands are clean before playing the piano. The sheet music has a special place in each of the students' folders. The sight singing books have a special space on the shelf and are used weekly to help improve the students' musical skills.\r\n\r\nRecently, several students auditioned to sing the national anthem at home football and basketball games. They used music that you helped purchase and they used the music stands you helped purchase to make their audition happen without any hiccups. \r\n\r\nThese new items helped the choir students to recognize that other people believed in them and they have taken that and owned it as a responsibility to do a good job in chorus and give their best effort. I cannot thank you enough for putting a spark into their spirits!
