Technology can also help keep students motivated and provide different ways for students to understand and apply what they are learning.\r\n\r\nThe most exciting part for my students is having the opportunity to learn in a fun and interactive way. They are naturally curious about new technology, and being able to use it as part of their learning makes them excited to participate. The keyboard, keyboard mats, and mice are helping students practice their computer skills in a more comfortable and organized way. The disinfecting wipes help us keep our shared technology clean and ready for everyone to use, and the snacks give students a little extra energy and encouragement throughout the school day.\r\nWhen my students first saw the new materials, they were excited to have new tools to use. They especially enjoyed setting up the keyboards and mice and getting started with their computer activities. It was wonderful to see their excitement and eagerness to learn.\r\n\r\nRight now, my students are continuing to build their technology skills through classroom activities that require them to use the keyboard and mouse. Our next steps are to keep practicing typing, navigating the computer, and completing learning activities independently. The tetherball equipment has already made a difference by giving our students another fun, active, and positive way to play during recess and movement breaks. Many of our students need opportunities to move, release energy, practice teamwork, and build confidence, and this project gives them exactly that.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the new tetherball materials, they were excited and eager to try them out. It has been wonderful to watch students take turns, cheer each other on, learn the rules, and practice good sportsmanship. Something as simple as a tetherball game has created moments of laughter, friendly competition, and connection between students who might not always choose the same activities.\r\n\r\nBecause of your generosity, our students now have another way to stay active, build social skills, and enjoy being kids. This resource will continue to be used throughout the school year as we encourage healthy movement, positive choices, and inclusive play for every student. Their parents have been great about signing their log, and I have the majority of my students and their parents engaged in the process and eager to proceed with it every evening. \r\n\r\nAt first when my students received their binders they were apprehensive, but many of them were thrilled and excited to take it home and start using it. Parents were happy to have an idea on how to assist their student all in one place, and to track their child's progress themselves each night. Parent involvement has improved leaps and bounds with their homework binders in the little bit of time we've had them already! \r\n\r\nMy next step with their binders is keeping them updated on each trimester skills, adding and differentiating tasks that fit each individuals students needs, and using them in the classroom for early finisher work. They also have it ready to reference back to should they need it, which helps in the classroom. \r\n\r\nI'm so grateful for this donation, and excited to see my students continue to liftoff thanks to your generous contribution.
