We have been able to watch quail eggs develop till they hatched. It was incredible helpful that students could track chick development without having to turn out the lights. This allows me to track my class and maintain behaviors as students are able to take turns looks at the chicks growing. \r\nAdditionally, I now have enough timers that each student has one. This has allowed my labs to run smoothly and accurately. We have already used it for one lab and will be using it again as we test survival rates for bubbles during my bubble lab. Students seed out inside before we transplant them into either the aquaponics or outside. The shelves also give us space to stored our materials. We have low row covers that will allow us to plant and grow almost the entire year. The large map will be used for many lessons throughout the year as I try to always tie environmental issues to locations whether that is locating different biomes or analyzing why a location affects the climate and environment. I am excited that I now have maps that show where and label the tectonic plates around the world. You also provided a watershed map of the U.S. that I plan to laminate before putting it up to ensure it last for many years to come. \r\nThe globes provide access for my entire class instead everyone try to bunch around my one big globe or use the little mini globes I had for each table.
