We have been using the paper for our interactive notebooks so students can organize their learning in a creative way and have a resource they can refer back to. The bugs preserved in resin and the slides have also been wonderful tools for sparking curiosity. Students love being able to actually look closely at specimens and make observations instead of just reading about them.\r\n\r\nOne of the biggest hits has been the plasma ball! My students were immediately fascinated by it. They loved watching the electricity respond to their touch and couldn't wait to ask questions about why it was happening. It has been a great way to encourage students to wonder, make predictions, and talk about the science behind what they are seeing.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the new materials, their reactions were full of excitement and curiosity. The bugs in resin and slides especially caught their attention, with students eager to examine them closely and share what they noticed. The plasma ball quickly became a favorite, and students were excited to explore it and discover how it worked.\r\n\r\nOur next steps are to continue using these resources during our science lessons and interactive notebook activities. Students will be making observations, asking questions, recording their thinking, and connecting what they see during hands-on exploration to the scientific concepts we are learning. My goal is to keep encouraging them to be curious, ask \"why,\" and see themselves as scientists. These resources are helping make that possible in a very tangible way.
