The school Art Gala will take place at a museum in the Greenwood District in North Tulsa. Students will create art from the requested paint, brushes, and canvases to show their community and personal identity. There will be music, food, beverages and a sense of belonging to the local art community. The students will make paintings that express themselves and to show what kind of world they want to see. Their art will be up for auction and they will receive a portion of the earnings. The rest will go to the Fine Arts Department that is committed to developing the arts in the Greenwood district.
