The kids beg me to turn on the lamps instead of using the overhead lights. We do the OFTEN now! I for one, have had less headaches with the use of the lamps vs the overhead lights. As a teacher, I have had less students come to me with complaints of a headache. \r\n\r\nI can't thank you enough for the donation. The students are calmer when the lamps are on and are nicer to each other. I know, that was unexpected, but if we think about it, less headaches and calmer could lead to them feeling like being nicer. \r\n\r\nWe appreciate you more than you know. I see 4 classes a day for science. We use a ton of colored pencils for science diagrams and having new ones to use fuels the students to accomplish great things. \r\n When I opened the box of dry erase markers, some of my students literally jumped for joy! They asked if they were for them to use. When I responded with \"YES\", they were so excited to not have to use pencil and paper. \r\n Speaking of pencils; we are so thankful for the #2 pencils! It is so relieving to be able to hand a new pencil to a student when they don't have any. Just using a new pencil to do their work actually motivates them to do it! \r\n We cannot say Thank You enough times to let you know how much we are appreciative.
