This is teaching them patience and also hard work and persistence as they have to water daily. They will eventually take them home to plant into the ground. We also look forward to using the plant Legos to complete our project to set up as a reminder for our hard work. Runners used their backpacks to carry supplies. Students ate the snacks before races to power up and after to replenish their energy. They used the water mix-ins to stay hydrated on hot race days. They were used most recently for our Christmas program this week. Several students felt the music on stage was too loud for them.
