The art supplies, books, and classroom supplies are used daily in our classroom. We love to do creative projects that go along with the books and stories that we read in our ELA classes, however, we lack enough art supplies to make these lessons successful. Through the process of reading these updated materials, we will be creating storyboards, story maps, and other visual aids to assist in their comprehension of the material. This encourages reading comprehension and the authentic learning experiences that students will utilize in the classroom. By supporting this project, you will be giving our children the tools that they need to increase their creativity in an artistic sense and encourage reading comprehension through hands-on application. Having these supplies, it will allow our classroom to have more variety in reading materials, and the art they create will be limitless in the collaboration of teacher and student learning.
