Not only did our students provide a good show for their parents, but they also enjoyed creating and making music that will forever be a part of their time here at our school. First grade use the kazoo's and they were a true hit. After the performance, they got to keep the instruments and take them home to allow their families to enjoy their musical sound. We kept the bells and use them for the pre-K and kindergarten showcase. Second grade play the record each class. They have already learned three songs and are working on a fourth our first graders play the ukuleles and have learned the basic scales for the instrument. They only know how to play one song, but they are now properly holding the ukuleles and treating the instrument with kindness. Our third and fourth graders also play the ukuleles during class. The students will be using them for their upcoming showcase. We have an after school music club that has access to all instruments that are here at our school. These students chose to take music club so I give them more opportunities to become more acquainted with all the instruments. We have here at our school. These students move forward to become leaders within their classrooms.
