Your generosity made a meaningful difference for our team, and we are incredibly grateful for your support.\r\n\r\nOur school is a Title I campus, and many of our students face financial barriers when it comes to participating in extracurricular activities. Because of your donations, every player on our team now has the proper black and white uniform socks needed for practices and games. This may seem like a small piece of equipment, but for our athletes it represents belonging, confidence, and pride in being part of something bigger than themselves.\r\n\r\nWhen the socks arrived, the girls were genuinely excited. Many of them immediately tried them on and talked about how it made them feel like a \"real team.\" Seeing every player dressed consistently and prepared for competition helped build a sense of unity and pride that we could not have achieved without your help. It was a special moment watching them step onto the field knowing they were fully equipped and supported.\r\n\r\nWe are using these socks daily during practices and games as part of our official uniform. Having the correct equipment helps our athletes meet league requirements and maintain safety while playing. More importantly, it helps our students feel confident and focused on improving their skills rather than worrying about whether they have the right gear.\r\n\r\nAs the season continues, our players are working hard to develop their soccer skills, teamwork, and leadership both on and off the field. They are learning discipline, resilience, and communication while representing our school with pride. The next step for our team is continuing to build our young program through training, teamwork, and opportunities for student leadership.\r\n\r\nYour generosity has helped create opportunities for students who might not otherwise have access to them. You didn't just provide socks—you helped our athletes feel valued, supported, and ready to compete.\r\n\r\nThank you for believing in our students and investing in their future.","fullyFundedDate":1769836421981,"projectUrl":"project/leveling-the-playing-field-socks-for-ou/9950487/","projectTitle":"Leveling the Playing Field: Socks for Our Saints!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Angela Erin Lang","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-8_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8832074"},{"teacherId":9185079,"projectId":9457893,"letterContent":"Thanks to your generosity, our students now have access to two 3D printers, and the impact has been immediate and meaningful.\r\n\r\nWhile many donors are familiar with technology at home, 3D printing in a school setting goes far beyond \"pressing print.\" Students will be learning how ideas move from concept to reality. This process builds problem-solving skills, persistence, and critical thinking in a way that traditional assignments often cannot.\r\n\r\nWhat excites students most is seeing something they can see on a screen become a real, physical object they can hold. Failed prints are not disappointments; they become learning opportunities. Students will troubleshoot issues like adhesion problems, filament errors, and design flaws, learning that iteration and revision are part of real-world engineering and design.\r\n\r\nBecause of your support, students are not just using technology, they are able to understand how it works, how to fix it, and how to create with it. You have helped turn curiosity into hands-on learning, and your donation is giving students skills they can carry into future careers and lifelong learning.\r\n\r\nThank you for making this possible.","fullyFundedDate":1762379875333,"projectUrl":"project/empowering-future-creators-with-a-bambu/9457893/","projectTitle":"Empowering Future Creators with a Bambu Labs 3D Printer","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Snyder","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9185079_orig.png?crop=2592,2592,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1692466533153","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9185079"},{"teacherId":314061,"projectId":8152918,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for supporting our DonorsChoose project and helping us bring Maus and What Color Is Your Parachute? For Teens into our classroom. Your generosity has given my students access to two powerful texts that speak to very different needs, interests, and stages of their growth. In a time when understanding history and recognizing its patterns is more important than ever, Maus offers students a compelling, humanizing way to learn about the past and reflect on how we can prevent similar injustices in the future.\r\n\r\nAt the same time, What Color Is Your Parachute? For Teens invites students to look inward and consider who they are, what they value, and how they might contribute to the world as future leaders. Many of my students are just beginning to imagine their place in society, and this book gives them tools to think about their strengths, their goals, and the impact they hope to make. Together, these books reach different learners in different ways, encouraging both reflection and empowerment.\r\n\r\nYour support made this possible, and my students feel it.
