Adding a few drops of the Naturopathy Eucalyptus essential oil to our new diffuser instantly turned our bustling classroom into a calm, spa-like oasis, which was met with a collective, peaceful \"ahhh\" from the whole room. \r\n\r\nThese resources have completely upgraded our daily routine. We are currently using the air purifier continuously to keep our shared air clean and allergens at bay, while the broom, dustpan, and lightweight cordless vacuum have made our end-of-the-day cleanups fast, seamless, and surprisingly fun for the kids. Our next steps are to integrate these tools into our daily \"classroom jobs\" rotation. Your kindness has brought so much color and excitement to our imaginations. \r\nWhen the large boxes arrived, my students' reactions were absolutely priceless. The room filled with gasps and cheers as they saw the colorful, new materials. My youngest learners in Pre-K through 2nd grade were ecstatic to see the Colorations stubby chubby paint brushes and Crayola jumbo crayons, which fit perfectly in their smaller hands and make painting and drawing so much easier. Meanwhile, my 3rd and 4th graders felt like \"pro artists\" opening up the sleek Aigybobo washable markers and the Crayola triangle crayons; which they quickly noticed don't roll off the tables! The absolute highlight for every grade level, however, was opening the Crayola Colors of the World crayons. Seeing their faces light up as they realized they finally had a spectrum of shades to accurately draw themselves, their friends, and their families was truly a heartwarming moment. \r\nRight now, we are putting these incredible resources to work in a school-wide self-portrait unit. The older students are using the triangle crayons and washable markers to sketch intricate details, while the younger classes are practicing fine motor skills with the jumbo crayons and stubby brushes to paint their backgrounds. Every single student is utilizing the Colors of the World crayons to blend and find their perfect skin tone match. Looking ahead, our next step is to use our new materials to explore community and identity.
