Because of you, my students now have inviting, hands-on writing materials that they use daily during writing center time. Students are practicing building sentences, stretching out their ideas, and revising their work using tools that make writing feel fun and approachable. One of my favorite moments was watching a reluctant writer light up while proudly sharing a sentence they created using the new materials.\r\n\r\nWhen the supplies first arrived, the excitement was immediate. Students gathered around the writing center, eager to explore each item and asking when they could start using them. Many students commented on how \"fun\" and \"cool\" the materials were, and that enthusiasm has carried over into longer writing time and increased focus. The writing center has quickly become a favorite part of our literacy block.\r\n\r\nThanks to your generosity, our next steps include using the writing center to support longer writing projects, peer sharing, and editing practice. Students are gaining confidence as writers and learning to take risks with their ideas.
