The headphones have been especially valuable for our 7th–12th grade students, allowing them to focus during online lessons, watch instructional videos, and complete listening activities without distractions. This has been especially helpful for students who benefit from individualized learning or need quiet concentration during testing and digital assignments.\r\n\r\nFor our 7th graders, the simple calculators have provided confidence and accuracy as they learn foundational math skills. Instead of struggling with mental calculations that slow down problem-solving, students can now focus on understanding mathematical concepts and applying them to real-world situations. Our 8th graders have been thrilled to use their new scientific calculators. They've enjoyed exploring features such as exponents and equations, which prepare them for more advanced courses in high school.\r\n\r\nStudents who once hesitated to participate in math lessons now show excitement when it's time to use these tools. Overall, the donated items have empowered our students to engage more deeply, learn more efficiently, and take pride in their progress. We are so grateful for your generosity—it has truly enhanced the way our students learn and experience success each day.","fullyFundedDate":1755441916795,"projectUrl":"project/making-mathematic-minds/9328754/","projectTitle":"Making Mathematic Minds","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Mejia","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-1_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9189140"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_86595","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":71,"numTeachers":11,"percentFrplEligible":75,"percentAsian":1,"percentBlack":0,"percentWhite":66,"percentIndigenous":5,"percentLatinx":12,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"9 - 12","studentTeacherRatio":"6.5:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"RURAL","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_DISTANT"},"inStateSupporters":75.7,"schoolId":86595,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Maysville High School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Maysville High School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/oklahoma/maysville-public-schools/maysville-junior-senior-high-school/86595"}
