It has been very useful for my students when they need a break. High school can become very chaotic and busy, and cause anxious behavior. Our classroom has improved with the sensory items that were purchased with your donations. The items that were purchased are helping in so many ways.\r\n\r\nThe items are helping in other areas too. We use the rug for life skills by learning how to vacuum and how to roll it up to store so the floor can be mopped. The chairs creates an area my students are able to hang out with their peers and have fun conversations. \r\n\r\nWhen my students first seen all of the stuff they were so excited. The first day after putting it all together they all kept asking to go for a break so they could go to the corner to see everything. They still ask everyday to go take a break.
