The new nets allowed us to have a full pickleball lesson in which the students were able to learn the rules of pickleball and they got to spend a full day of PE playing against each other.\r\n\r\nThe volleyballs have gotten used a ton. This project has allowed my students more flexibility in when and where they can write as well as a place to relax and unwind.\r\nFor our next project, students will publish a new novel. The basketballs have helped us a ton as we have been able to have a true basketball lesson in which students are learning the three important skills used in the game of basketball. We only had 6 usable basketballs prior to the donation and so we have put our new ones to good use.\r\n\r\nVolleyball is a very popular at our school and we have been able to learn the basics of volleyball and improve their skills. It encouraged a lot of our 6th graders to try out for the 7th grade team in which a lot of them ended up making it. This project is one small step towards an even brighter future for Glenpool music. By upgrading and utilizing instruments at the 5th grade level, our students get hooked on music and often make the choice to pursue music further in middle and high school.
