The new books have quickly become a favorite part of our reading time, opening the door to new stories and sparking excitement during independent reading. Even simple supplies like batteries and the crayon sharpener have helped keep our learning tools running smoothly and our creativity flowing.\r\n\r\nThe first time my students saw these materials, their excitement was unforgettable. They were so eager to explore everything, especially the whiteboards and new books, and it immediately made them feel like our classroom was a special place for learning and discovery. It helped set the tone that this is a space where their ideas matter and where they are supported every step of the way.\r\n\r\nRight now, we are continuing to build strong foundational skills through hands-on learning activities and guided reading. Students are working in small groups using the whiteboards to solve problems and share their thinking, while also beginning reading units that connect to their interests and help grow a lifelong love of learning.
