This project reached around 30 softball players and 20 other youth players. These tees have been used daily every week since they have arrived. They will also reach about 55 baseball players in the spring time. We are no longer piecing tees together to try to accomplish daily routines. The 2 claw tees are outstanding and by far the team favorites. By having the claw foot we are able to move them around the plate and have a steady ball to hit. Not only has it been beneficial for the youth in our town but just as much for our players. Watching them coordinate and run kids through drills has made me extremely proud of the young men they are becoming. We have had different levels of talent come through. Some have never stepped foot on a baseball field. The players treat everyone the same and we have started seeing some progress. It has been a grind doing this throughout the High school season but my players started looking forward to the extra 30 min of work before or after practice. The youth involved cant wait to come back and several ask to skip a rotation so they can stay longer.
