The cozy seating, calming strips, chair bands, stickers, and snacks have already made such a positive difference for my students.\r\n\r\nWhen the new materials arrived, the students were so excited! They especially loved seeing the cozy seating and discovering the different items that were chosen just for them. It was wonderful to watch them realize that people outside of our classroom cared enough about their success and well-being to help provide these resources.\r\n\r\nWe are using the cozy seating to give students comfortable options for learning and working throughout the day. The calming strips and chair bands have been especially helpful for students who need movement or sensory input while they learn. Instead of having to leave their learning space, students can use these tools to help regulate their bodies, stay focused, and continue participating in lessons alongside their classmates.\r\n\r\nThe stickers and snacks have also been wonderful additions to our classroom reward program. Students love working toward these incentives, and they give us another way to recognize positive choices, effort, kindness, and academic growth.\r\n\r\nAs we continue through the school year, our next step is to help students become even more independent in recognizing what they need to be successful learners. Whether that means choosing a comfortable place to work, using a calming tool, getting movement while seated, or working toward a special reward, these resources give our students more opportunities to feel successful in the classroom.\r\n\r\nThank you for helping us create a classroom where students can feel comfortable, supported, motivated, and ready to learn. Your kindness has brought so much excitement and joy to our students as they discovered the wonderful supplies that will help make our Christmas projects possible.\r\n Our students are especially excited to use these materials to create special handmade projects for our local nursing home residents during the Christmas season. These projects are so much more than crafts-- they are a way for our student to share love, kindness, holiday cheer with members of our community who hold such a special place in our hearts.\r\n Seeing the students' faces light up when they saw the supplies was truly priceless. Your generosity has given them the opportunity to be creative while also teaching them the importance of giving, serving others, and thinking beyond themselves. We know that the handmade gifts they create will bring smiles to the residents, and that makes this project even more meaningful.\r\n Because of you, our students will be able to experience the joy of creating something special and giving it so someone else. I wanted to take a moment to personally thank you for your generous support of my classroom project, \"Giving Back\" on DonorsChoose. Because of your kindness, my students received supplies to help my student create projects to help give back to our community.\r\n\r\nThe impact has been truly meaningful. Since receiving the materials, I've seen a transformation in my classroom. Students are more engaged, motivated, and excited to learn and help our surrounding community. One of the most heartwarming changes has been after students took donations to the local elder community center. After we left the center student talked about how much of a difference we made in the lives of our elderly residents.\r\n\r\nYour support reminded my students that there are people out there who believe in them and want to see them succeed.
