This project made it possible for students to check out their own copy and read at their own pace, which greatly increased engagement. Students loved the dual perspectives and shared that the teenage viewpoints made the story feel relatable and applicable to their own lives.\r\n\r\nThe dual timeline allows students to see young people in both eras grappling with similar social and moral challenges, offering invaluable insight into our community's past and present.
