Student innovators will be introduced to using a compass, navigation, and orienteering. Our innovators will learn to take a bearing with their compass and other environmental evidence around them to problem solve. They will also measure their paces to determine distance. Our innovators will learn to apply these vectors and magnitudes in real life and create orienteering courses as teams. Innovators will develop essential life skills and develop spatial awareness as they use tools and evidence around them to problem solve. Student innovators will also have the opportunity to check out compasses and use them on their own adventures with family and friends! Help us develop an orienteering program for our students to grow and learn essential life skills!
