Seeing that it was made possible by generous donors was such an incredible surprise and meant more to me than I can put into words.\r\nAs a first-year teacher, I am constantly learning how to make lessons more meaningful, engaging, and accessible for my students. UFLI has already become such an important part of our literacy instruction, and I knew that having this resource would make such a difference in our classroom. We've already printed math manipulatives to help with fractions, models of animal habitats for science, and student-designed keychains that show off their creativity and pride.\r\n\r\nThe 3D printer has also given my students the chance to practice problem-solving, perseverance, and teamwork.
