The addition of the Chomp Saw has already been a tremendous benefit to my students. Most recently, we used it during a Community PBL project in which students created detailed cardboard models representing key locations in our area. This hands‑on experience allowed them to apply their map‑reading skills, identify important community landmarks, and work collaboratively to design a three‑dimensional model of our town.\r\n\r\nAfter completing their models, students proudly hosted local community members, guiding them through the cardboard town they had built. They shared stories, highlighted meaningful places, and explained what makes our community unique. The project not only strengthened academic skills but also built confidence, creativity, and a deeper connection to the place they call home.\r\n\r\nWe are excited to continue integrating the Chomp Saw into future STEM and PBL activities throughout the year. Its precision and ease of use make it an invaluable tool for supporting hands‑on learning, problem‑solving, and innovative design in the classroom. Your generosity is making a real and lasting impact on our students' educational experiences.","fullyFundedDate":1763655731464,"projectUrl":"project/little-engineers-big-ideas-building-wi/9829422/","projectTitle":"Little Engineers, Big Ideas: Building with the Chomp Saw!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Ely","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp439602_orig.jpg?crop=2026,2026,x0,y283&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1760490086351","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/mrs-ely"},{"teacherId":8070862,"projectId":9434093,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generous donation to our classroom! Your support made it possible for every student to have access to high-quality headphones, and the impact has already been tremendous.\r\n\r\nMany people are familiar with using technology at home, but using it in a school setting is very different. In our classroom, technology is a tool that reinforces reading skills, provides targeted math practice, supports language development, and allows students to work at their own pace. The new headphones have become essential because they help students concentrate, listen closely to instructions, and fully engage in interactive lessons without distraction. With your help, students who once struggled to focus are now able to plug in, tune out background noise, and truly learn.\r\n\r\nWhat excites the students most about the new headphones is the independence they provide. Suddenly, they can choose learning programs that fit their needs, listen clearly to stories and instructions, and enjoy educational activities that feel personalized to them. They especially love how comfortable the headphones are—and how grown-up they feel using \"real\" equipment that helps them learn like professionals.\r\n\r\nSome students have especially blossomed with this new technology. A few of my quieter learners, who used to hesitate during whole-group lessons, now participate confidently during tech-based activities because they can clearly hear every word and follow along at their own pace. I've also seen students who typically struggle to stay on task remain engaged for much longer periods simply because the headphones help minimize outside distractions. These small shifts have led to big gains in confidence and academic progress.\r\n\r\nYour generosity did more than provide a classroom supply—it created opportunities. It empowered students who needed a quiet learning space, supported those who learn best through audio instruction, and gave every child the chance to access technology in a meaningful way.\r\n\r\nThank you for believing in our students and investing in their learning. We are deeply grateful.","fullyFundedDate":1758809524718,"projectUrl":"project/headphones-can-be-a-powerful-tool/9434093/","projectTitle":"Headphones Can Be A Powerful Tool","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Balduff","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8070862_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1757523754595","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8070862"},{"teacherId":865625,"projectId":9421096,"letterContent":"Thank you so very believably much for helping to bring active play options to my class.
