The Pop-it balls were a huge hit, and many students loved the mini Lego boxes. One student was so excited that he couldn't wait to show me a picture of the Lego creation he built! They are also giving students who need some movement to wiggle as they still sit and participate in class! The wrapping paper is being used to create \"gift books\" for the class. These are books that are wrapped so it forces the kids to read what the book is about rather than judging it by the cover! In the second semester, each kid will read a book in the Who Was series. I have wrapped these books so they can't just pick someone they already know about. I want to encourage them to learn about someone new. The posters will be used at the end of the year when the kids will research and create a poster on a specific American Indian region.\r\n\r\nThe kids were so excited when the secretary brought the boxes in for us to open!
