Students spend many hours a day sitting in desks and chairs. I currently have a couple flexible seating chairs in my classroom and they are constantly being used. When students get a chance to demonstrate their learning, I'd like to have lots of seating options for students to choose from. This project will allow students to choose from a stand up desk, an exercise ball, and other non-traditional classroom chairs. Students love having a choice of where they like to work, helping them to stay engaged with the task at hand. Bu helping to fund this project, you will be providing my students with the opportunity to work at a different location, which I have noticed already helps with the effort they give. Several of the chairs that have been selected can be folded up and pushed to the side when not in use. Thank you for considering!
