They were brand new so they were comfortable and nap time was a breeze! We offer nap time at our program as a way to allow the children to unwind and get some rest. Even though this is not the item the project was for we were so excited about being able to purchase this new piece of furniture. \r\nOur students were super excited about the new shelf for our blocks because it allowed us to give them access to a larger variety of building materials. Our hope is to still try for a new art shelf in the future and hope that it gets funded and there are no shipping issues. I love watching my students' faces every time we get a new project funded and bring in new materials or furniture into our classroom. My students were so excited to see the new art supplies for our classroom. We are now getting to enjoy painting without worrying about what colors we don't have. The new squeeze bottles also make it easier for students to be more independent when getting their own paint for a project they want to create. \r\n When my students seen the golf pencils they were super excited about having pencils that were \"just their size\" to write with. I had a couple parents even ask me about them after their child went home and talked about the mini pencils we now have in our classroom. I'm hoping all the materials from this project continues to allow my students and I to be able to express our creative thoughts for the rest of the year. \r\n In the future we would love to try and get a new art shelf that will allow a bigger variety of art materials to be accessible at all times to the students. Our current art shelf has limited space so we have to keep a large number of our materials in a cabinet out of students reach so our future goal is a new shelf.
