In the grade I teach my students start learning about differences in weights, height, and size. They love to explore by building things with blocks which is why I believe the magna tile blocks would be perfect because they not only will be able to build with these blocks but they will also be able to learn their shapes while building. These will also allow them to learn about magnets and how they work. I believe allowing students to learn while being hands on is the best way to help them learn. That's why I think having games that show them how things weigh different but can eventually be the same weight will be very beneficial in the classroom. Our job as preschool teachers is to set the foundation of learning for our students. For this reason I want to make sure my students are given every opportunity available to make this happen so they can succeed.
