This course has become my passion project due to family history. Your donation has allowed me to continue to develop this course and shape it into a course which will challenge my students beliefs, values, and daily decisions. My district is tight on funds as most schools are. The Donors Choose Community allowed me to purchase books that were not in our start-up budget. By using Literature Circles in the classroom, students will be able to take ownership of their learning to challenge their thinking and also will be able to pursue a Holocaust topic of their interest. When I shared the project with my students, they were very excited and also very thankful for your help. Thank you again for funding this project.
