Recently, we put them to work during morning work, where students used the materials to free build and create when they are finished with their paper morning work. Instead of just completing paper pencil work, they were able to actively use their ideas, collaborate in small groups, and problem-solve in real time to create using these tools. It turned a daily routine into an engaging, hands-on experience that made students feel successful and creative. \r\n\r\nWhen the packages first arrived and we unboxed them together, the reaction in the room was pure magic. Their eyes lit up with genuine excitement, and a wave of gasped \"Are those really for us?\" echoed across the classroom. Many of my students aren't used to receiving brand-new, high-quality learning tools, so seeing these pristine materials made them feel uniquely seen, valued, and important. That initial burst of joy immediately translated into an eagerness to dive in, and it set an incredible, energized tone for this daily routine. \r\n\r\nLooking ahead, we are taking this momentum right into the start of each day. Now that my students have mastered the basics of how to use the new tools, their next step is to now try the whole variety and challenge themselves to try all ideas that come to their brains. They will be working over the whole school with different small groups of peers to try their ideas and collaborate.
