When my students walked into the room and saw the huge new whiteboard for the first time, their reactions were priceless. They immediately wanted to know when they would get to use it, and they didn't have to wait long!\r\n\r\nThe whiteboard has quickly become one of the most-used tools in our classroom. In our math classes, we use it every day to work through problems together, model different strategies, practice new skills, and show our thinking step by step. My students especially love being able to come to the board themselves to solve problems, draw models, make corrections, and explain their thinking to their classmates. Because the board is so large, several students can work at the same time, which has made our lessons much more interactive and engaging.\r\n\r\nFor students who sometimes struggle with math, having a large visual space where we can break problems into smaller steps and work through them together has been incredibly valuable. It gives us the freedom to try a strategy, erase it, change it, and try again which helps students see that making mistakes is simply part of learning.\r\n\r\nMost importantly, this whiteboard has given my students another way to participate, collaborate, and feel successful in math. What may seem like a simple classroom tool has already made a big difference in the way we learn together.\r\n\r\nThank you for investing in my students and giving us a resource we will use every single day for years to come.
