These supplies have been great to help students with their social and emotional learning. The books help students with their emotions and how to identify what they are feeling. Kids have BIG feelings but don't know how to describe them besides mad, sad, happy or excited. These books allow them to go more in depth with their emotions.\r\n\r\nThe crayons and colored pencils offer a variety of colors, allowing students to express themselves in different ways. I also have enjoyed coloring with these supplies; it is always nice to use new crayons and colored pencils. As some of you know, the weather in Ohio during the spring brings cold wind that can chill to the bones, especially in northeast Ohio by Lake Erie. Our WCB track athletes were so excited to receive these leggings and wore them for all but the final track meet. Our first three meets were met with cloudy, cold and drizzling rain, burr.\r\n\r\nRegarding the hoodies, we, the coaches gave the athletes these hoodies as a keepsake for their participation in track. These athletes, whose track experience this year was their first, learned what it was to not quit even when your body was telling you too. Those of you who run know what I am talking about. The athletes also learned to work together as a team, specifically in relays, which was on of our favorites. We had the hoodies imprinted with \"Strong alone, better together\" and \"WBC 2025.\" The athletes received their hoodie along with participation certificates at our end of the season picnic. \r\n\r\nWe were able to participate in the City Eleanor Montgomery Championship Meet on May 13, 2025. Our own, Tyrone, earned first place in the boys 1600m race and Maya took 2nd place in the girls 1600 m race. These two 8th graders will be going to high school next year and very likely continuing their participation in track. \r\n\r\nThanks to you for caring and generously contributing to our track team, making running in the cold a lot more tolerable.","fullyFundedDate":1741385689893,"projectUrl":"project/boys-and-girls-track-team-partner-with/9119198/","projectTitle":"Boys and Girls Track Team, Partner with Us","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Lucero","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp5810087_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1740390444376","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/5810087"},{"teacherId":8685221,"projectId":8101258,"letterContent":"On behalf of the students and families at William Cullen Bryant School, I would like to extend our healrtfelt gratitude to our generous donors who made it possible for us to receive much needed resources.
