My students are learning how to mark important information, identify evidence, make notes about their thinking, and then use those annotations to support their writing. Having the right materials readily available has made it much easier for students to practice these skills every day.\r\n\r\nWe will continue using these supplies throughout the year as my students grow as readers and writers. The carpet the kiddos are loving meeting at so I can read stories to them. I am also loving it so thank you so much. The kiddos have asked to take their devices to the carpet and lay down to do their computer time. It's very convenient and wonderful to have a carpet so thank you so much. \r\nThe mailboxes make the organization of dismissal so much better. The kids can grab their mail and put it in their homework folder and it's so smooth. The kids are loving it. I'm loving it so thank you so much.\r\nThe printer is incredibly nice to have in my class. Out of my 21 years of teaching, I've never had a printer and it's so nice! The arrival of the rainbow curtains, drying racks, and color-coded drying mats has completely transformed the atmosphere of our classroom. The curtains are the perfect addition to our large windows. They add to the overall beauty of the room and help to screen out the sun that was previously blinding once the sun reached a certain height!\r\n\r\nWe are currently putting these resources to work during our clean-up and preservation routines. The new drying racks have been a total game-changer; allowing students to take more responsibility cleaning their own painting materials. Everything has a place and they know where everything goes! These materials aren't just decorative, they are the backbone of a functional, inspiring classroom that allows my students to focus entirely on their growth as young artists.
