Students who previously struggled to engage during speech sessions have begun to express their needs and desires more openly. I am now hearing them verbalize \"go,\" \"more,\" \"fast,\" and \"my turn\" as they watch balls and cars roll down the tower.\r\nEvery student on my caseload of 90 has benefited from the materials received through Donor's Choose. As an Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) speech pathologist, I also train fellow speech therapists and educators on how to effectively support the communication needs of my students. They have observed a noticeable increase in student interest and engagement when interacting with peers and adults while using these engaging materials.\r\nAdditionally, I have implemented a rotation system that allows therapists to borrow materials on a monthly or weekly basis. All of the materials donated in this project has had a positive impact on the daily function of the classroom. \r\n The 3 in 1 Cube Chairs addition to the classroom has made a big difference in our Circle time experience. The students are now able to sit high or low in the cube chairs to personalize their level of comfort while sitting. The students showed much excitement when they saw the chairs for the first time. The girls especially like the purple cube chairs while the boys in the class favor the blue chairs. These chairs makes sitting an ease during circle time which helps the students to stay focus a little longer.\r\n Adding the sand and sand tools to the sensory table has really been good for our scholars. As they explore with the sand and tools the teachers are able to introduce new vocabulary as well as ask many open ended questions. The Magna Tiles and Funnels has been an awesome addition to our science exploration. Many new ideas and different ways to manipulate the materials have come from using the materials.
