They give donors concrete evidence that their support translated into real results.\r\n\r\nSince receiving the Freelap timing system, our practices have been transformed. Instead of relying on hand timing, our athletes use electronic timing to measure acceleration and sprint speed and receive immediate, accurate feedback. Seeing their times instantly created excitement and motivation, with athletes eager to improve, set personal goals, and understand how their technique and training affected their performance. What was once simply \"running fast\" became purposeful, data-driven training.\r\n\r\nThe impact was evident throughout our season. Our athletes became more invested in their progress, encouraged one another, and gained confidence as they saw their hard work produce measurable results. This was especially meaningful for students who train on the blacktop of our school parking lot without access to a traditional track. Thanks to our donors, they had access to technology that helped level the playing field and showed them that their circumstances do not have to limit their potential.\r\n\r\nBy the end of the season, that hard work produced some incredible results: **seven school records were broken across our high school and junior high programs, a junior high athlete qualified for the State Championships in the 400-meter dash, and a high school athlete set a new conference record in the 200-meter dash.** These accomplishments belong to our athletes, but the resources provided by our donors helped give them the tools, feedback, and confidence to reach new levels of success. We are incredibly grateful for the investment you made in our students.","fullyFundedDate":1769710490929,"projectUrl":"project/every-step-counts/9983379/","projectTitle":"Every Step Counts","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Travis Bogart","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp6704117_orig.jpg?crop=2504,2504,x217,y296&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1632492182135","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/6704117"},{"teacherId":7493085,"projectId":10213877,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for the support of my students and staff to make learning more detailed and organized. We are using the indoor rollout runway daily during speed and technique sessions, allowing both our girls' and boys' teams to train on a consistent, track-like surface regardless of weather. One standout moment came during our first acceleration workout using the new starting blocks. Athletes were able to practice proper block setup, reaction, and drive phase, skills we previously could only explain but not fully teach without the right equipment. The resistance bands and mini hurdles are now part of our warm-ups and speed drills, helping students improve mechanics, strength, and coordination while reducing injury risk.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the new equipment, their excitement was immediate and genuine. Several athletes commented that it felt \"like a real track,\" and they were eager to try everything out. For many of them, it was the first time using starting blocks or training on a true sprint surface. That excitement quickly turned into focus and effort, they understood that this was an opportunity and treated the equipment with pride and responsibility.\r\n\r\nBecause of your generosity, our next steps involve building structured speed progressions and competitive practice scenarios that mirror meet conditions. Athletes are setting personal goals, tracking improvements in starts and sprint mechanics, and gaining confidence as they see measurable progress. Most importantly, they are learning that their hard work is valued and supported. This project has not only improved how we train, it has reinforced a culture of belief, motivation, and possibility that will continue to shape our students long after the season ends.","fullyFundedDate":1755688090576,"projectUrl":"project/fueling-speed-from-first-girls-conferen/9607118/","projectTitle":"Fueling Speed: From First Girls Conference Championship to Future Success!","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Travis Bogart","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp6704117_orig.jpg?crop=2504,2504,x217,y296&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1632492182135","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/6704117"},{"teacherId":6704117,"projectId":9601757,"letterContent":"This project has had an immediate and meaningful impact on my students. With Canon EOS R10 cameras and iPads available in class, students can now fully participate in yearbook and journalism work without relying on cell phones, which are no longer allowed during instructional time in Ohio. The technology gives them a focused, distraction-free way to learn photography, writing, design, and collaboration.\r\n\r\nThe cameras are helping students understand how images tell stories. They are learning how lighting, angles, and timing affect a photo, and how a single image can capture emotion and meaning reveals more than words alone. The iPads allow students to edit photos, write articles, design layouts, and work together efficiently, all skills used in real-world media careers.\r\n\r\nWhat excites students most is using professional-quality equipment. Holding a real camera instead of a phone changes how seriously they take their work. They slow down, plan their shots, and take pride in the final product. Seeing their photos and writing come together on the iPads makes the learning feel authentic and rewarding.\r\n\r\nSome students who don't always shine in traditional classroom settings have especially connected with this technology. Visual learners and hands-on students have found confidence behind the camera or in designing pages. Students who were hesitant to write have become more engaged once they see their photos published alongside their words. This project has given many students a new way to succeed, contribute, and feel proud of their work.","fullyFundedDate":1755688090359,"projectUrl":"project/telling-our-story-the-right-way-with-th/9601757/","projectTitle":"Telling Our Story the Right Way, With the Right Tools","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Travis Bogart","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp6704117_orig.jpg?crop=2504,2504,x217,y296&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1632492182135","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/6704117"},{"teacherId":7493085,"projectId":9539218,"letterContent":"Thank you for the items in this project.
