We have been able to incorporate the tiles and the hopping balls into several games and lessons. \r\n\r\nThe floor tiles have been used in a variety of ways. For starters, they have served as a great way to help teach the fundamentals of throwing. My students have used a tile for their lead foot as they step into their throw. Watching the color inside the tiles move around has been a great incentive for them to remember to use their lead foot. We have also used the tiles for hopscotch and to play \"The Floor is Lava.\" \r\n\r\nThe hopping balls have been great for relay races and for use in stations. I have found that my students who are more hyperactive tend to choose this activity over others that are offered. This gives them a good opportunity to exercise and get out extra energy before going back to class. \r\n\r\nI want to extend a heartfelt thanks once again to all my sponsors as well as The Gates Foundation.
